ANAHEIM, CA, UNITED STATES, August 26, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — A person with entrepreneurial drive, coach training, and incredible speaking skills might go and build a private business and profit from the enterprise financially. But some people have a greater sense of purpose, a desire to impact people on a wider community level, and they will take their specific talents in a different direction. This is the case for Monica Robles, a gifted businesswoman who chose to support the 12+ million Hispanics in Orange County, San Bernadino, and surrounding areas of California (known as the Inland Empire.)

Ms. Robles created a curriculum called Emprendador@s, which translated from Spanish means entrepreneurs, and to date has helped roughly 2000 people graduate and develop their own businesses. By empowering others, from populations that include immigrants and abused or abandoned spouses, she has improved society and made a name for herself. This is why Monica Robles was named one of the news team’s Empowering Women in America.

A woman who truly leads form the heart

Monica aptly named her organization Heart Centered Leadership. She is an internationally certified Coach and Trainer for John Maxwell, and the creator and owner of the Emprendador@s community program and its English counterpart Entrepreneurial Academy. She has more than 30 years of sales, marketing and leadership development experience. She helps educate people and cultivate their leadership skills and teaches business management principles in community initiatives that have earned recognition from the City of Santa Ana, SCORE, and JP Morgan Chase as the 2022 Community Icon, to name a few. Monica hopes that appearing on the podcast will raise awareness and generate support for her goal of bringing these vital programs to other counties and states.

“I always enjoyed helping people. I moved around for different positions, and wherever I landed, I always reached out to the Chamber of Commerce. When I first began to train at John Maxwell, they told me I was a leader, and I didn’t believe it. Finally, I had an a-ha moment while working in Europe .Building from a leadership perspective, I decided to help those people who don’t speak English too well or assimilate so easily.”

Another example of her leadership vision was while volunteering with SCORE on Hispanic Initiatives. Monica shared her program idea with them, and they helped identify and attract people to the Spanish and English training initiatives. She furthered her own understanding of grant writing and IRS regulations and then took her program from a foundation to a nonprofit organization.

Still Humble After Award Winning Strides

“I have no ego. I’m a grounded person. I would like to let people know that we’re here and we’re growing. I hope to connect with instructors and other community minded people.”

Monica says that while there are several aspects to her trainings, some key behavioral elements are resilience and accountability. She lets students know they are in control of their own lives and making graduation a reality is up to them. She advises be here at 5:00pm, do your homework, and stay the 8 weeks. There are no excuses.”

Building the skills and confidence to turn a business concept into reality is her ongoing mission. Monica knows she will never stop caring and playing a part in creating a better outlook for her community and its Hispanic populations. We are happy to bring her story to light.
