Initiative designed to provide technical assistance and capital readiness to entrepreneurs
CHATTANOOGA, TN, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Proof Programs has partnered with BrightBridge Capital, a community development financial institution (CDFI), to provide a 12-month small business development and capital readiness initiative. Known as Bridge2Bankable, the program consists of six service phases. The initial phases focus on introducing and assessing business readiness, with educational efforts that prepare participants for loan readiness. From cash flow management training to document preparation support, Bridge2Bankable will partner with entrepreneurs to provide one-on-one coaching, strategic advice, financial review assistance, and growth planning.
As entrepreneurs progress through the program, the focus will shift toward the evaluation of lender readiness, preparation of referral packages and pre-screens of program participants. Once approved for funding, program participants will receive post-loan coaching, growth planning, financial stabilization support, accountability check-ins, and business sustainability assistance. The focus provided to entrepreneurs will encourage improved financial readiness, business sustainability, increased revenue, and improved operational effectiveness, leading to success for the business and the lender.
Success for many in the space begins with an initial webinar to introduce them to the Bridge2Bankable program offered by Proof. On Wednesday, September 16, Proof will host a free introductory session. Proof President and CEO Mike Robinson shared that their efforts are available statewide through Tennessee Economic and Community Development’s Main Street Tennessee efforts. Offering strategic support, on-demand content, and a 12-week accelerator program for top-performing businesses, Proof prepares entrepreneurs to apply for funding.
Robinson shared, “We’ve worked with over 1,500 businesses throughout our history to provide practical tools for growth. We know how to make sure our clients are ready for success, but we wanted to find a great partner who would align with our efforts on the financial aspects of the work. BrightBridge Capital provides a meaningful partnership that allows us to do just that.”
Bridge2Bankable improves financial readiness and loan application quality, leading to better information and a smoother lending process. BrightBridge Capital’s Chief Revenue Officer Barry Allen said, “Learning from industry professionals with decades of experience gives entrepreneurs confidence as they navigate from their daily tasks to the back-office side of their business. Bridge2Bankable provides support from the earliest days of the business and coaching well after the loan has closed. Small businesses with a healthy bottom line and a plan for growth are what drive our economy. We’re excited about this partnership.”
