D137 Lynx, D317 Jaguar, and D333 Panther give developers purpose-built foundations for drones, AMRs, and humanoids
AVerMedia Technologies Inc (TWSE:2417)
NEW TAIPEI CITY, TAIWAN, September 16, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — AVerMedia Technologies today announced its new robotics platform portfolio, created to help developers build the next generation of intelligent drones, autonomous mobile robots, and humanoids.
Physical AI is rapidly advancing how robots observe their surroundings, reason about what they perceive, and act in the real world. But as developers add more cameras, sensors, control systems, and AI workloads, integration becomes increasingly complex.
The new portfolio is designed to reduce platform-level integration effort as robotics systems grow more complex, giving developers a scalable foundation for adding new sensors, interfaces, and capabilities.
Under AVerMedia’s “Lead the Next Wave of Physical AI” initiative, the portfolio includes three application-focused platforms: D137 Lynx for drones, D317 Jaguar for AMRs, and D333 Panther for humanoid robotics.
D137 Lynx — More AI. Less Airframe.
Designed for drones and UAVs, D137 brings NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano and Orin NX into a compact 90 × 60 mm, 50 g carrier. Flexible camera connectivity and integrated control I/O help reduce additional boards and wiring while preserving valuable space and weight for batteries, sensors, communications, and mission payloads. D137 also supports flexible vision integration across MIPI, gimbal, and GMSL camera architectures, giving developers more options to match the sensing configuration to the airframe and mission.
D317 Jaguar — More Sensors. More Capable AMRs.
D317 combines NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin with high-bandwidth sensor expansion, localization and control connectivity, storage, wireless communications, and optional remote-management capabilities. The platform is designed to scale as AMRs take on more demanding perception, navigation, and fleet-management workloads. Flexible I/O expansion, including GMSL and PoE connectivity options, gives developers more freedom to integrate cameras and sensors as the AMR platform evolves.
D333 Panther — Thor-Class AI. Built for Humanoids.
D333 brings NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 and T5000 into a compact 120 × 120 mm carrier designed for sensor-rich humanoid systems. Its modular architecture, including the F8G7C daughter board, provides flexible I/O expansion for cameras, control systems, USB devices, and networking as development requirements evolve.
Across its robotics portfolio, AVerMedia also supports integration with advanced RealSense and Stereolabs depth cameras, helping developers bring richer perception and spatial awareness into autonomous systems.
For timing-sensitive applications, AVerMedia provides both Standard and Real-Time BSPs, released at the same time. The Real-Time BSP incorporates PREEMPT_RT support for more predictable, low-latency execution.
AVerMedia also supports NVIDIA memory-optimization technologies that help developers use Jetson Thor, Jetson AGX Orin, and Jetson Orin Nano/NX resources more efficiently. For suitable workloads, these optimizations can reduce memory footprint and may enable customers to right-size their platform within the Jetson family while maintaining the performance required by the application.
“Physical AI is creating a new wave of opportunity for robotics developers,” said Alex Liu, Vice President of AVerMedia. “Our robotics platform portfolio gives developers a purpose-built foundation to integrate faster, scale more easily, and move confidently from development toward deployment.”
Drawing on experience across real-world drone, AMR, and humanoid projects, AVerMedia combines hardware, BSP customization, peripheral integration, validation, and production support to help developers accelerate the path from robotics development to deployment.
