Monday Motorbikes Announces Brand Relaunch and Introduces the New Shavano

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 15, 2026
One of the original electric motorbike brands returns under Volara Holdings with a new identity, a
focused three-model lineup and built around a simple promise: Built Tough. Every Day.
AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Monday Motorbikes, one of the original electric motorbike brands, today announced its official relaunch with a completely rebuilt brand identity, a sharpened market position and the debut of its newest model, the Shavano.

The relaunch marks the brand’s first major milestone under Monday Mobility Group, a portfolio company of Volara Holdings, and is backed by a coordinated rollout to independent dealers across the United States. The relaunch follows a 90-day teardown and rebuild of every part of the brand, from its logo and visual identity to its product story, website, dealer program and retail experience. Monday is now headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, and has narrowed its lineup to three purpose-built models: the Anza, the Antero and the new Shavano.
A brand rebuilt around what the bikes actually are, Monday’s new positioning came from the product itself. Monday’s bikes are larger, heavier and sturdier than most of what fills the e-bike aisle, and the brand now says so. Rather than leading with lightweight or eco messaging, Monday leads with toughness and reliability, positioning its motorbikes as everyday machines built to be ridden hard and relied on daily. The new brand platform is anchored by the tagline “Built Tough. Every Day.” and four pillars: ruggedness, reliability, an unpretentious attitude and the freedom of the open road. It draws on Monday’s heritage as one of the first companies to build tough, motor-inspired electric bikes, while welcoming riders of every background.
“Monday has always built bikes that could take a beating, but the brand never told that story,” said Dwayne Lum, CEO of Monday Mobility Group. “We rebuilt everything around one honest idea: these are workhorses with soul. They’re built to last, and that’s exactly what our riders and dealers have been asking for.”
Introducing the Shavano
The Shavano is Monday’s new lifestyle cruiser and the first model designed from the ground up under the rebuilt brand. Named, like every Monday model, for a Colorado peak, the Shavano pairs relaxed, upright cruiser ergonomics with the same heavy-duty construction that defines the rest of the lineup. It is built for riders who want an electric motorbike they can ride every day, from the morning commute to a weekend cruise, without babying it.
“The Shavano is the bike that best captures where Monday is headed,” said Lum. “It’s comfortable, it’s got real presence, and it’s built with the same toughness as everything else we make. It’s the kind of bike you take out on Monday and you’re still riding years from now.”
Key Shavano features include:
- Motor: 750W Bafang H640 rear hub motor.
- Battery: 48V 20Ah, UL certified, with a five-hour charge time. Removable and swappable with unique keyed lock.
- Range: Advertised range of 50+ miles per charge.
- Top speed: 28 mph. Class 2 eBike
- Frame, suspension and brakes: Aircraft-grade aluminum step-through frame, adjustable front suspension, and Tektro hydraulic brakes.
- Tires and wheels: Spoked wheels; tire dimensions and wheel size are not specified.
- Lighting and standard equipment: LED headlight, rear taillight, brake light, turn signals, and reflectors; adjustable seat post, padded spring saddle, raised handlebars, and an eight-speed derailleur. Onboard TFT display with Bluetooth Connectivity.
The Shavano is available now through authorized Monday dealers and at mondaymotorbikes.com, with an MSRP of $2299.
A focused three-model lineup
The Shavano joins two proven Monday models, each with a clear job:
- Anza – the urban and street machine, with classic cafe racer proportions
- Antero – the dirt, adventure and dual-purpose model, with full suspension for trail and backroad riding
- Shavano – the lifestyle cruiser, built for comfortable everyday riding
Built for dealers, backed by service
Monday is rolling out the relaunch, market by market, through a geo-targeted dealer program, giving independent powersports and e-bike retailers a complete launch package. Dealers receive a retail launch kit, product spec sheets, a dealer prospect folder, sales programs and co-branded marketing support. Retailers interested in becoming an authorized Monday dealer can learn more at www.mondaymotorbikes.com.
Every Monday is supported by E-Garage, Volara’s authorized service network for light electric vehicles. E-Garage provides certified service, parts and warranty support for Monday owners, with its first flagship location opening in Eugene, Oregon and a nationwide service desk at 1-866-66-EVFIX.
“Monday is a great example of what Volara does: take a brand with real heritage and give it the strategy, capital and infrastructure to grow,” said Christian Okonsky, Founder and CEO of Volara Holdings. “With a rebuilt brand, a strong new product in the Shavano and service backing from E-Garage, Monday is positioned to win with both riders and dealers.”
