New capability generates tests in a team’s existing framework, runs them in their own infrastructure and commits them to their repository as pull requests

Developers now write and ship more code than ever, much of it drafted with AI, but they still create tests the way they always have: someone writes the test, wires it into a repository, adds it to a pipeline and finds a real environment to run it against. That work rarely reaches the top of a sprint, so coverage falls further behind the code with every release. Customers put it to Testkube in nearly the same words every time: help us create more tests.

Using AI tools like Claude or CodeX only solves half the problem, Testkube goes the full mile. Instead of being limited to isolated and local test execution, Testkube creates and runs tests inside your infrastructure, using specialized skills, existing tests and results for context. Once the team accepts the outcome, Testkube opens a pull request in their GitHub repository so they can review, edit and version the test like any other code. Teams that need execution data to stay inside their own cluster can run all of it on-premises.

  • Immediate execution. Every generated test runs in the team’s real environment within seconds, so a wrong assumption surfaces while it’s still a draft.
  • Tests the team owns. Accepted tests arrive as pull requests in the team’s GitHub repository, reviewed and versioned like any other code.
  • On-premises deployment with your models. Tests and execution data stay inside the customer’s own cluster, using the LLMs you provide.

Test generation tools generate tests and testing platforms run them; Testkube now does both inside the customer’s own infrastructure, so coverage grows at the rate code grows without adding QA headcount or migrating to a new framework.

AI Test Creation is generally available today and included in the Testkube trial. And through Q4, the generation engine will get even smarter: it will draw on a team’s own guidelines and best practices, environments and execution history, so the tests it produces improve the longer Testkube runs a team’s testing.
