Fontana Unified School District Turns to ArrowHeart Foundation to Share New Clothing Donation with Community Partners

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — When the Fontana Unified School District Office of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) had seven pallets of brand-new clothing to donate, its partners at Walden Family Services knew just who to call – ArrowHeart Foundation, Arrowhead Credit Union’s 501(c)(3) foundation. ArrowHeart has been actively distributing outfits in 2026, surpassing their 2025 donation record of 800 outfits, with nearly 2,000 outfits donated so far this year. Since its inception, ArrowHeart has worked to uplift the communities it serves and build lasting relationships with partners who share its mission.

“We’re very grateful for the partnership between Fontana Unified School District and Arrowhead Credit Union,” said Carlos Lopez, District Community Aide with the Office of Family and Community Engagement. “It’s not just about banking; I see ArrowHeart going out to neighborhoods and helping families, students, and the unhoused. That’s something we do as well. I’m looking forward to our continued partnership and collaboration for years to come.”

The ArrowHeart team sorted the donation into complete outfits for children and adults. Each one included bottoms, two shirts, socks, undergarments, and, for colder regions, a jacket. So far, Harbor City College’s resource center has received clothing for students in need, while Hearts & Lives in Crestline has received jackets and winter wear for its colder mountain climate. Community’s Child in Torrance will soon distribute clothing to families and seniors living in poverty, with additional distributions to follow.

“Our partnerships with both Walden Family Services and FACE are a true alliance,” said Stefanie Villalobos, Arrowhead Credit Union Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Impact and ArrowHeart Foundation Executive Director. “With this massive donation, we not only were able to give more, but we were also able to create new relationships that will benefit more in our communities.”

Walden Family Services is a Southern California nonprofit agency that helps transition foster-age youth and young families with foster care, adoption, transitional housing, education, employment, and support services. ArrowHeart Foundation and Walden Family Services have worked together for the past three years. Their confidence in ArrowHeart’s ability to organize and distribute clothing donations is why they connected ArrowHeart with FACE.

ArrowHeart Foundation was established by Arrowhead Credit Union in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) foundation for the purpose of giving back to communities the Credit Union serves. The Foundation partners with other 501(c)(3) organizations—as well as gives directly to the community—through volunteerism, food and clothing donations, distributing life essential bags to the unhoused, and academic scholarship awards. In total, the Foundation hosts more than 100 events annually and fills countless donation requests from community partners.
