Jessica Housand is a research psychologist, fiction writer, memoirist, screenwriter, poet, educator, and former U.S. Navy civilian scientist whose multidisciplinary work spans human factors, public health, wellbeing, technology, and the creative arts. She holds a PhD in Psychology, a Master of Public Health, and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, as well as undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Information Technology.

Her scholarly work has appeared in Frontiers in Psychology, and she has collaborated across healthcare, defense, and emerging technology sectors.
